Clayton Community Fair Poultry Show 2011

1st Place at Clayton Community Fair 2011, Cuckoo Ameraucana Hen!

We have been selectively breeding to the Ameraucana Standard with our Easter Egger chickens and are steadily attaining our goal, with two first places at Clayton with the cuckoo hen shown and the silver pullet in the cage behind her in the photo. We are getting nice muffs and good color with the babies we have been hatching this year (the same ones you will get through our hatching egg auctions!)

Paint color EE, we are developing. They are white with random black spots and patches, keeping this one.

These were hatched under my broody silkie and bantam naked neck hens (they literally set together, LOL.)

 As you can see from some of his chicks below that he carries the rumpless gene.
